BHUBANESWAR: Taking a cue from prime minister Narendra Modi, chief minister Naveen Patnaik has decided to interact with students through video conferencing on the ensuing Children’s Day.
There will be an hour long programme from 11 am to 12 noon during which, the chief minister will deliver his speech to the students, which will be telecasted live through Doordarshan in video conferencing mode.
“Chief minister will deliver his speech and may take some questions from students. The event will be telecasted live from Capital High School here. We are trying to ensure that children in schools in panchayat, block and district level could also interact with the chief minister on the occasion. But there are infrastructure problem in some remote areas,” said programme director of Odisha Primary Education Programme Authority (OPEPA), Mahendra Mallik.
