Shah Rukh Khan conferred with honorary doctorate


Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan received the honorary doctorate at the sixth convocation of Maulana Azad National Urdu University in Hyderabad. The ‘Raees’ star was conferred with the honour by President Pranab Mukherjee for his extraordinary contribution in the promotion of Urdu language and culture.
In the past actor Aamir Khan has also been conferred with a similar honour. The ‘Dangal’ star was honoured by the University back in 2013.
Present at the occasion were dignitaries like Telangana Governor ESL Narasimhan, Deputy Chief Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali, and the University Vice-Chancellor Zafar Younus Sareshwala.
